Wazzup folks...
Well this is prolly the longest i havent put an entry...hmm maybe i'm getting bored of typing my life out like kenny predicted...but yeah lots to say still...
Well my last mounting was on thursday...went pretty well but left me pretty traumatised haha...u see there was this new detainee who came in in my shift so i was in charge of "taking over the body"...rushed thru the tedious paper work yuk!...then my sergeant asked me to do all the "dirty" procedures...so i took the guy to a small room with my sergeant and erm asked him to strip...as in totally...i was kinda embarassed sheesh i bet he felt worse...so i just looked away while my sergeant did the questioning....then we had to ask him to pee into 3 bottles...then i had to seal those bottles all by myself...yuk!!!!!!!!the smell was erm horrible...after that i was in the toilet for bout half an hour washing my hands....yikes...and then my segeant said " Leonard i think u seal the bottles damn well...the rest shd learn from u i think u shd be the urine I/C....argh! how unglam man...urine I/C...hope there is no such post man or i'm dead...
Which brings me to a point...i think some pple don't deserve to go to jail for awol....as funnie as it seems i think some pple are just in the wrong circumstances...ok take this guy who didn't receive his in camp training notification letter and was arrested at the causeway on sunday in front of his wife and kids....i mean how screwed up can the army get...they don't make sure pple know where they have to be and then arrest them for not being there...at least like get the unit to call the pple up for resevists or sumthin...i'm sure there are not that many pple to call lor...
and then there's this sergeant guy who fankly did nothing wrong...his men just lost 2 rounds and he's in DB for that...oh well i dont see justice in all this lar..i guess thats y pple hate MPs so much...then again i just have to do my job...
Well i got a call on saturday and i was finally tracked down by HQ and guess wat i had to do my very first guard duty on sunday.....24 hours!!!
I HATE GUARD DUTY!!! Yikes never wanna do it again...its like, as Lionel says "army's lamest way to make pple waste time"...by the way he was doin guard duty as well haha...they bloody turned us out like 4 times ok...thats like they ring a bell while ur resting and we all had to run down and do some bayonet fighting....can die of heart attack...after those 4 runs we were so sensitive, we all ran down halfway thru watching "I'm not stupid" on channel 8 when a school bell in the show rang!!!!the sergeant tot we were crazy....haiz got home and slept the whole day...i guess thats how i spend my free days now...sleeping...i tot it was worth it getting 3 days off a week but i realize that they make u soooo tired after the 24 horus work that all u wanna do is sleep....looks like i'll be sacrificing alot of my social life these 2 years huh...
Guess i couldn't make this entry as funnie as i could....dunno feelin abit off balance again i guess....abt life and all...and of course my course in life after army....well...time will tell i guess....
