SHIT I got an "A"
Dunno y i'm so kiasu...i'm a blardy singaporean man haha...just had my first test (they call them quiz here). Ear training which we had to sight read and sing a melody and one rhythm while conducting. It went ok but i kinda slipped up the conducting bit on the melody. My teacher sed i had to work on conducting but I sill got an A which is like the top grade u can get. I was soooooo pissed after that man. I was sulking at lunch. "I could have done better" "why did i have to slip up?"
I think i'm turning into one of those idiots complaining when they scored well when others just cant do well, but hey, i'm here to work my ass off and if i dont get "ABSOLUTE PREFECTION" i'm not doing my job right? haiz...this sux. Good part bout being in music school is ACDEMICS IS MUSIC haha...so i'm reallie not doing any studying at all. Just ALOT of practice...oh yeah i realised 2 hours of prac a day is not enuff...i'm getting piled with songs to play by all my teachers...but its kewl...its ALL jazz this time haha...playing fats waller, charlie parker and duke ellington stuff! Love love!
On a lighter note...I"M GONNA BE A DJ! haha...i got on the college's alumni radio channel BIRN and i'll be showcasing stuff from berklee alumni...Diana Krall and John Mayer anyone? haha...i'll tell u guys how t get the feed on the internet when its all settled... best part is i get 1 credit for this man! damn kewl!

Kendrick Liu, Singapore senior! Crazy organising freak! Bestest tuition teacher. and singlish buddy. Its such a relief i can speak singlish everyday to him cause putting on that fake accent just so pple can understand me is getting tiresome.
