Bezerklee Part 2
So ONE MORE WEEK till i get on the dreaded 30 hour flight back home....till i eat roti prata and my mom's cooking! till i hang out with animal friends again, till I attempt to steal my dad's new BMW and drive out to orchard road.
The life here is hectic though....lots of presentations to do next week...half of which i have no clue wat i'm gonna do cause i ended picking a hard rock producer to do my project on...DUH i dont listen to hard rock...i'm gonna get killed...
Did this super funny MIDI systems project using an MPC sampler. My and this white dude Max ended up making a kewl hip hop beat and rapping over it....I NEARLY DIED OF LAUGHTER...the 2 NON blackest guys in the class (one chinese one blonde blue eyes) rapping (pretending to rap, most of which was, UH, UH, YO, SUCKAH!) HAHA can die...my teacher loved it though....she nearly fell off her seat when she heard it in class.
My arranging final (still ungraded) has made the final list for the Contemporary Writing and Production Concert next semester 13 march...MY PIECE IS GONNA GET PLAYED AT THE Berklee Performance Center!!!!!!OMG....this is like huge...like they are getting a band and everything...if i'm lucky, i get to play or conduct it too! haha....gonna have to sit down with the head of the writing department to discuss the score for the final performance too though!...EXCITING!!!!this is like mad resume credit for me man....like how many pple get picked for stuff like that!!!!!
well back to studying....i can't wait to be back!!!!
