Well well looks like we made it trhu the year...now that christmas is over!

Spent the few days b4 christmas with family...ALOT haha..

I actually went bowling and karaoke at marina sq with my paternal extended family (i.e. Aunts) on friday nite! Present were:
1) Aunt Jenjen
2) Aunt (Mama) Irene
3) Auntie Trina and Uncle Frankie
4) Auntie Julie and Uncle Marc
5) Auntie Jou Min
6) Uncle Wilson
7) Sarah (Cousin)
8) Mikaela (Cousin and favourite person in the world haha)
9) Me

Was actually kinda kewl to be hanging out with extended family like that! haha...we shd do it more often...then again i think i'm reallie blessed with such a cool and close knit family! Spent most of my time entertaining mikki who was such a darling as usual!

Havent been karaoke in a while so was quite funnie to see the aunts picking all the OLDIES english songs! haha...DANCING QUEEN! and BREAKING UP IS HARD TO DO!!! Of course the hipper (and younger) aunts picked more comtemp chinese songs which i could sing along too...Auntie julie is like chineses pop queen man!...all the tao ze and stefanie sun haha...even mikki could sing along!...man she's grooming mikki up to be a pop star! I'll be the first to produce her album man!...watch out for it in erm 2015 haha!

We then went to bowling nearby! Wow that was a riot...so funnie seeing my aunts and uncles making a fool of themselves...actually they were quite darn good!...i was like the worst...next to uncle wilson who frankly is too skinny to be carrying a bowling ball! anyway pics pics!

On Christmas eve had a family gathering at my place...haha...food was real good...turkey from bakerzin was marvelous! Everyone from parternal and maternal side was there!...Got to see mikki again...although even she had to comment on how messy my room was! its not my fault! my mom asked me wrap so many presents last minute so there was wrapper and white strips from the double sided tape all over the floor!

Its the absolute bestest club in town!

Headed down there with 2 bestest girlpals Gorilla and Fairy Queen (with a feathery wand) Of course we needed Gorilla to show us around cause she's been there...the best part was the bouncer made a mistake and chopped my hand and all 3 of us got in FREE!

I'm UNEMPLOYED!
As i've been publicising, friday was my last day of work at TVE (Faber Image)... was quite happy lar i mean i get a break off all the frenzy and all...poor shaun had his 2 months of editin on the visa video thrown out the window when the idiot computer tech guy came and meddled with the hard ware...i think he was controlling his temper alot cause i would have just packed up and left man!...argh!...
We went to fish and Co in town for dinner...all the "kewl" and "young" pple gave me a treat there...yummy new york fish and chips...and wow all the side dishes!...we ate so much! i think Ying wanted to puke again!....haha...poor shaun couldn't join us as he had to stay back in office to REDO the work he had been doin for the last 2 months!
After dinner a few of us met with shaun at devil's bar again!...haha...this time music was lousy...haiz..the DJ kept playing TECHNO again!...i didnt reallie feel like going but since my collegues were no nice to treat me at dinner i had to oblige..

Aunty Jou's Christmas Dinner
Next was dinner at aunty joumin's place...our annual family christmas get-together
Only got one prezzie this year which was for my fave cousin mikki!...haha got her a paper punch craft set from borders...thanx Dah-ling part time GF and BOTTIE for helping me shop for it! haha..
The food was great...shepherd's pie, christmas ham, cus cus, and others...also had yummy cake, SWEEEEET strawberries and EVEN SWEETER dessert wine!....yummy!...INDULGENCE! Think my grandma was kinda stoked haha...her face all red haha!
After that we gathered round the piano and sang xmas carols...haha...i was playing DUH!..ended up like some karaoke session!
The party ended with OPENING PRESSIES!....i got a nice orange long sleeve t shirt from Aunt Trina and uncle frankie, and also 2 CDs Il DIVO and John Steven's from Aunt Jou!....thanx for those!

Skatz just did its last performance of the year at wisma today....guys its been great singing with you guys...i know we had our ups and downs and also our fair share of screw ups! but singing with u guys will always be one of my most cherished experiences!...thanx to those who poped by to see us sing and support us too!...next year won't have as many gigs i reckon since i wont be around...maybe we'll caroll again if i manage to come back for christmas! haha...i doubt! u guys can go ahead without me!

As the song goes...man its so near...haha i can't wait but then again i think this year no feeling man!...haiz...finally got asked to put up the christmas tree by my parents!...i was putting it off this year cause was too busy at work...oh well since we're hosting the family christmas gathering again this year...
went down to concourse to get my decorations for the tree since the ones i used last year were rusty and OLD! Concourse is the cheapest place for xmas decorations man!...but u have to be picky of what u buy cause ur house might end up looking just as cheap!
Got ALL SILVER decorations this year...bleah i overestimated the size of my tree! tot it was 8 feet but it was 6 feet only!....so shelled out 160 buckeroos for the decorations man!...and i have a gripe bout the lights i bought last year! argh...apparently they are spoilt! BOTH OF THEM!...u can go read how i nearly blew up the tree (and the house) last year in my christmas post last year. So this year bought another 2 sets of lights for nearly 50 bucks!...

So now my tree looks like this (I'm glad i did away with the blue from last year...that was getting boring)

Went to devil's bar with my collegues last friday..kewl place...music was ok lar live band and all...best part was free entry cause one of my collegues was a member...free booze too! but i didnt drink much only one shot and a vodka sprite...i was driving see...dancing was fun though! my collegues were siao or shd i say DRUNK!...one of them kept falling on the ground! Thats wat happens when 6 pple share 2 bottles of martell, 1 bottle of tequila and 1 bottle of vodka!

Ok i haven't been updating cause Firstly i'm reallie reallie BUSY AT WORK...secondly is because my stupid computer is damn slow and piasca dosent work anymore!...argh!...anyhow..

Been to alot of concerts lately...first was david tao on 26 NOV which was damn good!...wow man! All my favourite karaoke songs like ????(pu tong peng you), ????(ai heng jian dan) and ?????(ai wo hai shi ta). Mikki was so cute cause she was waving her light stick and singing along! SO CUTE!
The next day got free tix to see michael bolton...haha jioed my church frens gabby, alvin and eugene to come along and eugene didnt even know who michael bolton was...he actually thought i was asking to come watch a bolton soccer match together! argh! That was good too!...we got to stand right in front and see hom live! i mean its AS CLOSE AS U GET!...and hes damn old but still reallie powerful...
Lastly is skatz has been doin weekly gigs at wisma...i think we're getting better but the config keeps changing so everyone keep getting panic attacks on stage...thank God it turned out ok today without chris man...was covering for some of his solos and i was screeching up there!

well i quit my job finally so after next week i can RELAX! all the way to the new year and its off the Hongkong with gorilla, part time gf, botz and hann!....can't wait...i think this is the closest bunch of frens i've been overseas with...! and judging from my previous trips with other frens, this one is gonna be a blast!...wohoo!...shopping like mad and DIM SUM ALL DAY!....wohoo!...

Finally got all my Uni lodging and visa paperwork done!...so damn damn happy too!...finally can put the matter to rest!...okok sed enuff
