Dr. A. Noel's Clinic

Today i got a call from my excited roommate asking me to look out the window. I was "what stupid game are u playing?"
he was like "trust me u wanna see this"
Lo and behold, there was a bush fire near the river right across the road from where i lived. of course first thing to come out was my camera!...don't worry i'm ok..it was very contained. was kinda kewl cause all the fire trucks (not fire engines) came beeping down the road and helicopters were hovering above my building!

then at night when i though everything was ok, my room mate asks me to look out and again! and guess wat! another fire right next to where the previous one had been!....was like WAT! hehe pics pics....
i guess its rather uncanny that this week also happens to be fire drill week! haha..the whole school planned a series of fire drill for all the buildings this week and a real one happens across the road from us.

anyhow i did better expected in my ear training test.

sight singing 90
solfege 88

so after doing all the math its prolly gonna add up to 89.3! thats a B+...haiz...i was 0.2 points off from an A-..on the bright side, its prolly not a lost cause as i just need like a couple of As to pull my grade back up to an A...looks like i need to do more work!

UPDATE:
On the brighter side of things. I scored pretty well on arranging. Got a 98 for the written test which is an A and i'm really happy with my project scores too which i had to hand in a song (winter wonderland) which i arranged for 6 piece band. scored an A+ and my teacher wrote some pretty nice comments too!

I dont know if its the grade but i think i'm reallie starting to like arranging...i mean its always been one of my favourite things to do in music for skatz and also for some backing tracks i did back in singapore. i think i shd look into this avenue for my career possibly. what do u guys think?

Spring break for me has been great so far...my normal day is

2pm wake up
230pm eat breakfast(lunch)
3pm go to gym
5pm watch TV
7pm eat dinner
8pm watch more TV

and more and more TV till i go to bed again! haha

But its real relaxing!...so Glad i got this break!...

Yeap and for those of you how are wondering, project HBJ is ON again!....(hint hint)

Anyhow as this hols draws to a close i think i better get some "work" done....gonna try and get some practice time in tonight...i also have already done all my reading for english lit class already....oh yeah gotta do my DJ show...gonna host an alumni show on George Gershwin!....haha Botz ur screaming now rite?

Hey folks its the start of spring break and i'm having a GREAT deal of well deserved REST...watching alot of TV and i mean ALOT! by the season even! Part time GF will know what i mean (rite DAH-LING?) But i did alot of thing which some pple (esp my parents) never would expect me to spend a whole day doing

1. Clean up filthy bathroom (toiet, sink and all)
2. Pack and organise eveything in my room. Made nice holders for all my files and everything
3. did laundry, folded everything and packed eveything neatly
4. sewed on loose buttons on my clothes...couple of dropped ones
5. Cooked dinner (fried rice)..

ok so not everything went as planned

my bathroom was filthy cause of my highly inconsiderate suitemate(not roommate) who has a f**king hairy (fat) ass...everytime he sits on the throne, and no he dosent use the toilet seat, he leaves his "residue" ALL over the ring or the toilet! YUX! pisses me off everytime. and he dosen't bother the wipe up so the stuff just builds up everyday...and then there's the sink, he brushes his teeth and leaves like toothpaste all over, and dont make me mention all the "residue" on the faucet and sink too! he throws his rubbish(food and drink cans) in the toilet trash can and expects me and my rmmate to take it ot!!!!and in front of the mirror on the floor, theres like a PILE of short curly hair...i dont even wanna think of what the hell he was shaving b4 leaving for new jersey...all i know is i cleaned that all up and i'm glad he's gone for a week. the only place in the bathroom that was not dirty was the shower cause he obviously dosen't use it judging from the way he smells...i'm gonna paste a sign on the bath room door:

what was on ur ass, belongs on your ass, not the toilet seat
u use the trash, u take it out

anyhow mending my buttons didn't go too wll too

I sewed on the buttons for 2 of my pants and after that i realised that i had sewed the wrong buttons on both! like they didnt fit the hole! so i had to remove and sew again...and knowing myself, i cranked on the button and the blardy thing broke! so i have like a pair of pants with no buttons now! argh!

The cooking went surprisingly well...fried rice was a success even if i made too much rice and everything! haha stored the excess in the fridge...gonna make more in the week.

well guys looks like i'm gonnahave a relaxing and CLEAN spring break!

Ok it's almost over but since some of you requested here's a pic of the snow storm and what i winess when i got out of bed that sunday morning....this is from my room window by the way. I freaked out! like everything became white in a night! car's were buried and all! damn funnie




Anyhow its been midterms and i'm stuck under a pile of work....practice! but yeah it wll be spring break in no time!...projects are all due this week...did a couple of recordings, one was "winter wonderland" for my arranging class...and this other damn cheap pop elevator music thing for harmony class! can some one suggest a cheap title? haha no prizes for winner though.

If u dont have skype, GO GET IT! its damn damn clear lar...been talking to my parents and my sisters and it sounds pretty good!

Ok back to the books! seeya guys!
